Te veel van de restaurants in Amsterdam richten zich op toeristen, maar wat ben ik blij dat ik via Diningcity bij dit restaurant ben gekomen. Allereerst is het een schitterend interieur en schitterende hoge plafond. Ten tweede de gerechten zijn echt uitmuntend zoals de service in het restaurant. Het team daar probeert je echt te verwelkomen. Wat ons opviel is dat ze bij elk gerecht vragen of alles naar wens was, dat geeft ook weer aan dat ze hun best doen.

Kortom een uitstekende ervaring in Amsterdam en ik kom zeker terug. Dit is plek om niet te vergeten.

We reserved a table at the DAY’S Stonegrill yesterday evening for two of us. We went for the 4-course Dinner with Tapas Starter, Soup/Carpaccio, Steak and Dessert and nice bottle of Spanish red wine.

The Starter was a white bread with garlic butter and a different dip. I would recommend to not call this Tapas on the menu, because that raises some expectations to get a bit more. However, the bread was crusty and the dip and butter tasty.

Absolutely awesome we found the main. If you go for the Steak, you get a hot stone to grill it for yourself in front of you. I would’ve wished for a bit more variety in the sides (+3,75€ for additional fries), e.g veggies or so.

The place had the typical Steakhouse atmosphere, cozy and nice in its own way. The restaurant is very clean and the Service superb!

Service: very considerate and friendly, asking before each course was served whether we were ready or preferred to wait a bit. Tapas: pre-baked French bread with garlic butter and something else. That's not tapas. Starter: tomato soup. Not homemade as it said on the menu; I found a few of the lumps typical for dry soup. Main course Tenderloin: superb, very good meat and the stone grill placed on your table ensures the steak is cooked to your own perception of perfection. Desert: Dutch poffertjes, nice idea with whipped cream. They could add more details to create the real steakhouse atmosphere, although the rustic wooden interior is a good way to start.
